All the work of Women & Leadership Australia is driven by our mission: to support the flow of Australian women into formal and informal leadership roles both in the workplace and the broader community.
Over the past five years, Women & Leadership Australia has become a widely recognised and powerful example of workplace excellence and achievement. More importantly, WLA has become a national platform for the ongoing advancement of female leadership in every Australian industry and sector. Over 40,000 members nationwide regularly interact with WLA, making it Australia’s largest female leadership initiative.
WLA is an important national initiative under the auspice of the Workplace Training Advisory of Australia.The scope and quality of WLA’s services are the result of the dedicated work of the WTAA. The WTAA’s involvement in WLA is underpinned by an outstanding network of high-calibre female consultants.

Women & Leadership Australia Regional Advisory Board
Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) proudly announces the formation of a Regional Advisory Board that will assist with the development of all WLA initiatives throughout the 2009/10 fiscal year.
Access to the collective expertise and experience of the Regional Advisory Board will be critical in maintaining the effectiveness of all WLA activities.
The WLA Regional Advisory Board Chair and point-of-contact will be Kathleen Willmott of Workplace Training Advisory of Australia, a regional specialist who brings many years of extensive work and knowledge to the role.

Kellie was the founder and President of the Hastings Business Women’s Network in Port Macquarie, where her passion and determination for teaching women the secrets of successful networking meant that, in 2005, she was awarded ‘Woman of the Year‘ for the Port Macquarie electorate.

Judith has served five terms as National President of the Australian Association of Career Counsellors, and completed her second term as inaugural President and Founding Member of the Career Industry Council of Australia. In 2005 Judith was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia for service to the community.

Margaret identified the potential benefits of the music festival as a means to unify and engage the people of Mungindi, as well as giving them the opportunity to gather, celebrate and smile.

Born and raised on a 700 acre sheep farm in Otangiwai, on the north island of New Zealand, Di has a special affiliation with the challenges faced by regional and rural women.

As well as her work as a sugar cane farmer and cane harvesting contractor, Sherry is a Shire Councillor for Hinchinbrook Shire. She also holds roles on various advisory and strategic boards, and is often a coordinator and facilitator of initiatives in healthcare, community transport and education.
