The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is the leading community-funded organisation in Australia that raises money for research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer. The NBCF recently achieved a new milestone, having now funded $55 million across 230 research programs since 1994. Women & Leadership Australia is a proud fundraising supporter of the NBCF and recently donated $15,000 to help fund important NBCF research activities.
Workplace Training Advisory Australia provides expert advice and services to Australian employers in a wide range of important developmental areas. Some of these services include leadership development, executive mentoring, work/life balance, diversity and leadership ethics. WTAA’s Seminars and Events arm is Australia’s largest provider of professional development conferences. In 2008 alone, WTAA hosted over 200 separate events. Events range from 50-delegate workshops through to national 1,000+ delegate conventions. Having established WLA in 2005, WTAA continues to be a major supporter of WLA events and programs.
Employers of Choice
Each year, WLA partners with a select group of organisations through its Employer of Choice program. Run in conjunction with the annual Australian Women’s Leadership Symposium, the EOC program is designed to both promote and support organisations that are working closely with WLA to develop the capacity of their female leadership.
